I’m not at all petite and I probably push the weight limit listed for the kayak. So my first time in the water, I had some trepidation that I’d just sink the whole thing. But, I’m glad to say that there were no problems and that the kayak rode perfectly in the water. Perhaps I’d be in trouble on a white-capped lake on a windy day … but, being out on a day like that isn’t in my plans. And, hopefully, by the time I’m skilled enough for that, the exercise that I’ve gotten will have slimmed me down a bit. – JEE
